Good Speedo Vanquisher 2.0 Plus Mirrored Goggle

I've been a pair of the Vanquishers for a couple years now. I've previously owned the old version of the Vanquisher, but when I recently lost them, I decided to upgrade to the 2.0. These goggles have a very sleek design. I've been swimming competitively for a number of years (summer league, middle school and high school team), and the vanquishers have always been very reliable for me. They are very comfortable and have good suction so you don't have to worry about leaking or them flying off your head after a dive. Essentially, the vanquisher 2.0 is identical to the old model, except for superficial changes to the strap and, as advertised, 2.0 does have more peripheral vision...which I guess is cool... In the end however, I would recommend saving a few bucks and going with the old Vanquishers

Why review a kickboard, you may ask? Aren't they all pretty much the same? While this is basically true, there are a couple of nice features about this board that made it ideal for me. Most people on my Masters team own the yellow TYR board. That can make it confusing on the deck to figure out whose board is whose. This board's blue color helps distinguish it from the others. In fact, when I was searching for a board, I deliberately tried to find one that was not yellow. It seems like, when I was a kid, kickboards came in all the colors of the rainbow, but I couldn't find very many color choices, and each vendor only had one or two different colors. Also, this board is a couple of inches shorter than the TYR board. I sometimes ride my motorcycle to practice, and the longer TYR board doesn't fit in my backpack. This one fits nicely, along with my fins, buoy, and other gear. One potential downside to this board is that it appears to be a bit spongier than the TYR, so I've already got a ding in the surface. I will have to wait and see about its long-term durability. All in all, I would definitely recommend it.

I picked up the Finis after a friend of mine told me it was better than anything out there. The proprietary technology is really cool as the music transmit through your jawbone. That means no more ear plugs and no more wasting time trying to get them to fit. While I love the concept of the H20 Audio waterproof cases, I spent way too much time trying to get the earphones to fit just right. The Finis is lightweight, simple to use, and really stays in place. I find it totally unobtrusive and the sound is much much better underwater. It's quite full of treble above water, but for it's true intended use, under water is where it's at. It is not a sophisticated sound system that will play high def quality music like Bose output. It's just not like that. But it is good enough to enhance your overall experience. Training for my 30th Ironman race, this is really paying off as I hit the pool at least 3-4 times a week and I look forward to every session. Lots of cool features with the Finis like organizing tempo beats with workouts. I just stick to up tempo music throughout.

I bought this to replace the cap I've had since 15 years ago. I think they have improved the materials and design and it works really well. Also, I read somewhere that you should wet your hair and in the cap interior so that it keeps a good adhesion to your head while swimming. Otherwise, there are air bubbles that cause the cap to gradually slip off while swimming.

These are a set of very nice swimming goggles. Works very good in sunlight as well as when the pool is indoor. The glassy surface tends to get some touch marks which require a soft cloth to clean up but its ok, it does not damage your goggles or obstructs you view while swimming.
